ABOUT OUR TEAM

Third Rail is a versatile co-working studio, gallery, and retail shop located on Historic Grand Avenue. Our aesthetic highlights custom culture and urban contemporary themes. We offer services such as murals, graphic design and branding, sign painting, pinstriping, photography, and more. Our gallery hosts monthly shows and exhibitions, featuring a retail space that displays merchandise from local artists.

Javier “Spawk” Cordova specializes in sign painting, pinstriping, graphic design, typography, and public art. Spawk is an entrepreneur who has built a successful career rooted in his deep connection to graffiti culture. His passion for lettering art and traditional design techniques allows him to bring color and style to his surroundings. The Spawk and Co. brand offers a unique, organic, and custom culture aesthetic that is highly sought after. You might find him at the next big car show, pinstriping for a good cause, or working in his studio in downtown Phoenix.

Mary “Mo” Carrasco founded the Soy Como Soy Brand in 2020. What started as a personal hobby has grown into a successful business known for high-quality, custom merchandise and personalized designs. With a mission to celebrate individuality and cultural heritage, the brand empowers people to express their true selves through unique products that reflect the diversity of their community. Mary runs the business alongside Spawk, the graphic artist responsible for their custom stickers and T-shirt designs. Their offerings include clothing, accessories, koozies, and more, all made with care to leave a lasting impression. Mo is also a photographer who specializes in custom culture events.

Robert Gentile has over 30 years of experience as a visual artist and has built a multidisciplinary practice that includes studio work, public art, curatorial projects, and arts education. His work investigates themes of community and social connection, often through collaborative and site-specific projects. He has led community-based art initiatives such as the Carmody Foundation’s Art for Good Project and has worked extensively with institutions like Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum and the i.d.e.a. Museum. In addition to his studio and public art work, he co-founded Grand Arthaus in 2016, a co-working art studio dedicated to supporting artists at all levels.

Third Rail is a culmination of these three driven creatives who are professional, action-oriented, and passionate about their crafts.
