ROBERT GENTILE
Artist • Curator • Arts Consultant
Robert Gentile is a Phoenix-based artist and curator with extensive experience working with museums, galleries, and independent art spaces throughout Arizona. His curatorial practice focuses on building meaningful exhibitions that support both established and emerging artists while strengthening connections within the local art community.
Robert previously served as the Art Curator for Mood Room Phoenix, where he helped shape the gallery’s creative direction and exhibition programming. He is also the founder of Sisao Gallery, a contemporary art space formerly located on Historic Grand Avenue in Phoenix, where he curated numerous exhibitions and collaborative shows.
Through his work as an artist, curator, and arts consultant, Robert has played an important role in expanding Arizona’s creative landscape by fostering collaboration, mentorship, and artist-driven programming. At Third Rail PHX, he brings a strong curatorial vision and a deep commitment to supporting the arts.
JAVIER “SPAWK” CORDOVA
Sign Painter • Pinstriper • Mural Artist
Javier “Spawk” Cordova is a Phoenix-based sign painter, pinstriper, and mural artist specializing in traditional hand-painted lettering and custom automotive-inspired artwork. His work is deeply influenced by vintage signage, lowrider culture, and classic American design, blending time-honored techniques with a modern edge.
Spawk has collaborated with national brands, local businesses, and cultural institutions, creating custom signage, murals, and hand-lettered artwork across the Southwest. In addition to his professional work, he is dedicated to preserving and teaching traditional sign painting and pinstriping through workshops, demonstrations, and community education.
MARY CARRASCO
Photographer • Social Media • Operations & Merchandising
Mary Carrasco is a Phoenix-based photographer and the operations lead at Third Rail PHX. She manages all social media content, online branding, and digital marketing for the space, while also overseeing merchandising, administrative work, and day-to-day business operations.
Mary plays a key role in maintaining the creative direction and organizational structure of Third Rail PHX, supporting exhibitions, workshops, and community art events through consistent communication, coordination, and behind-the-scenes management.
In addition to her work at Third Rail PHX, Mary is the owner of Soy Como Soy, a clothing brand rooted in Chicano culture and created for independent Chicana women. Her work focuses on identity, culture, and empowerment through photography, apparel, and creative storytelling.
